Myth
“Cash back realtors don’t work as hard.”
Truth
Our referral network of cash back agents are highly motivated and they enjoy giving back and want your move to be a success. Reputation and referrals matter, so client care and results remain front-and-centre. With Premier House Cash Back, your terms are confirmed in writing by the brokerage before you sign, so expectations are clear and service stays full-tilt.
Myth
“Cash back means cut-rate service.”
Truth
Participating agents provide full-service representation. The 35 bps pool is an incentive structure, not a service cut. We match you with a vetted agent; the brokerage documents the incentive method (credit, cheque, or another mutually agreeable way such as covering legal fees) and timing (at/after closing) in writing before any agreement.
Myth
“Cash back agents aren’t experienced.”
Truth
I’ve been in real estate for 15+ years and network with experienced, like-minded agents. For many of us, helping others is a core motivator and that shows up in preparation, negotiation, and follow-through. We aim for smooth closes and great outcomes, not shortcuts.
Myth
“There are hidden fees or costs attached.”
Truth
You may hear this from other agents that don't want to offer you a cash back rebate, however it's simply not true. Incentives are written and transparent, confirmed by the brokerage before you sign anything. You’ll know how the cash back is provided, when it’s provided, and how any donation is handled.
Myth
“Cash back hurts negotiation strength.”
Truth
Your agent’s duty is to put your interests first. Period. Cash back doesn’t change that. We focus on strategy, pricing, and terms to win the best possible outcome. The incentive is simply an additional benefit confirmed in writing by the brokerage.
Myth
“It’s not allowed.”
Truth
Programs must follow local rules and brokerage policies. Premier House Cash Back works within applicable regulations and only with participating brokerages. That’s why everything is documented in writing up front. If an option isn’t available in your situation (which is seldom the case, but does happen), we’ll say so clearly.
